About Tipp City
Beautiful Tipp City lies just north of Dayton, Ohio at the intersection of I-75 and State Route 571. Founded in 1840, Tipp City was once a hub of shipping and trading activity on the Erie Canal. Now, it is a beautiful small town with excellent shopping, restaurants, thriving businesses and industry, and numerous activities to entertain visitors and delight residents. You’re sure to find something remarkable to do in Tipp City.
Located just 2 miles east of Interstate 75, our downtown historical district is one of the most picturesque in western Ohio, with quaint antique shops, historical memorabilia, bustling coffeeshops, and wonderful art galleries. Trains pass through town several times a day on their way to Detroit or Cincinnati while our hourly chimes greet our downtown visitors. Take advantage of our plentiful free parking to visit several eateries and restaurants with everything from casual ice cream to elaborate cuisine. While honoring our past, Tipp City has its eye on the future. There are many things to do, many things to see, and many things to experience. We hope you have a great visit!
