Battle Ax Plug Mural

Bronze Horse Statue

According to legend, Col. Daniel Rouzer lived in Tippecanoe and rode his horse to battle in the civil war. They both survived and rode back home. When the horse passed away, he had it buried. He was so close to his horse, Rouzer had a special clause placed in his will: nothing was ever to cover the horse grave. That clause has held till this day! Located behind the Old Post Office on Main and 4th street.

Canal Lock #15

Known as the 'Tippecanoe lock', lock 15 is located in Canal Lock Park. Nearby can be found a replica canal boat and a mill building once powered by the Miami and Erie Canal. More information via Waymarking.com.

Gem City Ice Cream Mural

Gem City Ice Cream mural, located on the side of the old Coldwater Cafe, corner of Main and North Second Streets.

Post Office Mural

There's an interesting story behind the mural hanging in the Tipp City Post Office, located on North Hyatt. This piece of Depression Era artwork, known as Construction of Miami-Erie Canal in Miami City, was painted by Herman Zimmerman. 520 N. Hyatt St., Tipp City, OH 45371.

Tipp Roller Mill

Tippecanoe Historical Museum

Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center

This beautiful facility was designed and built to provide a safe, family oriented aquatic experience for our community. The Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center features two water slides, diving boards, and three pools to accommodate all ages. Dayton Dragons Baseball Team

Fort Piqua Plaza

Fort Piqua Plaza is a fully rehabilitated historic facility that serves as the heart of activity in Piqua and all of Miami County. First completed in 1891, this historic building now houses the Piqua Public Library, coffee shop, state of the art meeting rooms, a spectacular elegant ballroom and a high end eating establishment. 116 W. Fulton Farms

In late spring, the vast fields of Fulton Farms gleam red with the season‘s first strawberries. In the fall, an endless landscape of pumpkins await carving and baking. Hobart Arena

Throughout its more than 55 year history, Hobart Arena has been the location of musical and sports entertainment, unmatched anywhere in the county. In the past, entertainers such as Elvis Presley graced the facility, performing to packed crowds and screaming fans. Kewpee Hamburgers (Lima)

Recently selected as one of the hardest restaurants to get into in Ohio, but don't worry about that. This signature fast food joint in Lima has three locations that serve up the city's best burgers, french fires and malts. There's usually always a wait at the drive-thru during lunch or dinner time, so we recommend going inside if you're pressed for time.

Marion's Piazza

Marion's opened its doors August 19, 1965 when Marion Glass decided to invest all of his life savings to open a pizza place with a unique concept: indoor seating. At the time, other pizza restaurants offered only carryout, but Marion's first location offered a large seating area patterned after an Italian "piazza" or courtyard. National Museum of the United States Air Force

Piqua Historical Area

The Piqua Historical Area celebrates more than 2,000 years of Ohio’s rich heritage, from the days of prehistoric Indians to Ohio’s canal era. Second Time Around

Troy-Hayner Cultural Center

This gorgeous mansion, adjacent to the County Courthouse, will take your breath away. Built in 1914 by the widow of William Hayner, former owner of the Hayner Distillery Company, the architectural style is “Norman Romanesque Revival”, but most Americans would call it “Tudor” with it’s wood and adobe exterior, beveled glass, marble fireplaces, ballroom, wood trim and carvings and stained glass. WACO Field & Aircraft Museum

Whether the sky was filled with the drone of biplanes or the silent shadow of gliders, this aircraft company figured largely in the history of Troy as it made history in the world.
