There are lots of exciting things to do outside of Tipp City and Troy - Dayton is just minutes away. Here’s a list of things to do. In downtown Dayton, the Victoria Theater has an exciting schedule of activities and events. One of the coolest is their old movie nights, where they show classics on the big screen. Check it out! Other Dayton arts organizations include the Dayton Opera, the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company (DCDC), the Dayton Ballet, and the Dayton Philharmonic.

Piqua Historical Area - 20 miles
The Piqua Historical Area celebrates more than 2,000 years of Ohio’s rich heritage, from the days of prehistoric Indians to Ohio’s canal era. This 250-acre site features the restored home and farm of John Johnston — Indian agent, canal commissioner, farmer and statesman — along with scenic rides along a restored mile-long section of the Miami and Erie Canal aboard a replica of a mule-drawn canal boat, the General Harrison of Piqua. The Historic Indian and Canal Museum’s exhibits trace the story of the Eastern Woodland Indians of Ohio and the historic Pickawillany Village. Charleston Falls - 6 miles
Originating from small underground springs several miles to the east, the stream creating the falls plummets 37 feet on its meandering journey to the Great Miami river, one mile to the west. A newly renovated boardwalk in the lower viewing area is complete and grants a beautiful view of the falls. Besides the 37-foot cascade, the park includes 212 acres of forests, meadows and streams, 2.5 miles of hiking trails, a planted prarie site, a small pond with viewing platform, a limestone cave and an observation tower. • Located on Ross Road near the headquarters of the Miami County Park District. Hours: The park is open from 8am to sunset every day.
