Tipp City enjoys many parks and recreational areas for such a small town – what can we say? We love our parks!
Canal Lock Park
Canal Lock Park is located just east of the downtown. There are benches and a picnic table for your enjoyment. Canal Lock Park in Tipp City (State Route 571) . It is called “Canal Lock” park because there is a dry lock from old Miami and Erie Canal at the West end of the park. It includes parking but no restrooms or water.

City Park
City Park houses the Roundhouse, three shelters, 8 baseball diamonds, playground equipment and the Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center. A popular feature of City Park is the renovated Roundhouse, an historic structure that is a favorite spot for family picnics and reunions. Tipp-Monroe Community Services hosts a summer playground at the Roundhouse for eight weeks while organizations such as the Mum Festival Committee utilizes the facility for their annual events. There is also a community canoe livery and boat ramp on the Great Miami River at City Park.

Dog Park
Tipp City’s four legged friends have a place to play in Tipp City! The 1.85 acre Tipp City Dog Park located in Thomas B. Kyle Memorial Park was dedicated on June 21, 2008. The Dog Park is divided into separately fenced areas for large and small dogs, and includes a fully fenced perimeter with double-gates, benches, picnic table, and a water fountain that accommodates dogs and their owners.

Kyle Park
Kyle Park is one of the newest community parks in Tipp City, comprised of approximately 280 acres, and is located off South First Street. There are currently three shelters available for use, 10 soccer fields, 2 softball diamonds, 10 baseball diamonds, 2 sand volleyball courts, a skate-park, basketball court, batting cage, horseshoe pits, fishing pond, driving range, and playground equipment.

Tipp City Bike Trail
Currently under construction, the Miami County Bike Trail will be a north-south paved biking trail that will stretch the length of Miami County, allowing bikers, hikers and walkers to follow the path of the Great Miami River and Miami and Erie Canal. Starting at the Shelby county line, it will run south through the towns of Piqua, Troy and Tipp City before meeting up with the Montgomery County portion just south of Tipp City. Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center
Welcome to the Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center as we begin our fourth season following a phenomenal opening season in 2005. This beautiful facility was designed and built to provide a safe, family oriented aquatic experience for our community. The Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center features a spray ground area, two water slides, diving boards, and three pools to accommodate all ages.

Tipp Nature Center
The Nature Center, at the north end of City Park, offers a scenic river overlook, ponds and walking trails as well as a bike path connecting into City Park.
