Electrical problem suspected in Tipp City fire
TIPP CITY— Firefighters suspect an electrical problem started a Sunday evening fire in a downtown building that caused an estimated $60,000 in damage.

Fire Chief Steve Kessler said Monday, July 27, that firefighters soon hope to have an official cause of the fire in the first block of East Main Street. The fire was reported around 8 p.m.

The fire was reported as being in the building housing the chamber of commerce, but actually was in the next building east.

The damaged building was used by Tipp City artist Sally Watson for her pottery studio.
