Help Us Find the Grand Marshal(s) for the 2009 Mum Festival Parade!
Tipp City Mum Festival, Tipp Monroe Community Services and the Tipp City Arts Council are looking for your help on finding the Grand Marshal(s) for the 2009 Mum Festival Parade.
This year’s theme is WE LOVE OUR MUMS. And we want you to show us how much you love your “mum” and why.
We encourage you to write an essay for the Essay Contest so that you can have a say in who is the 2009 Grand Marshal. If you think your mom or that special woman in your life should be the Grand Marshal because they are so giving, so kind or just such a great person- write it down. Send it in to the Mum Festival Committee, where judges will review and choose the “MUMS” of the year. There is a catch- you must be a school age child during the 2009-2010 school year and the categories will be:
- Kindergarten – 1st grade
- 2nd – 3rd grade
- 4th – 5th grade
- 6th – 8th grade
- 9th – 12th grade
The chosen Grand Marshal(s) will be in the Parade with the person who nominated them. Please drop off your essay to the Tipp Monroe Community Services, or mail it to Tipp City Mum Festival, P.O.
