N. Hyatt and Tipp- Cowlesville Road Construction

As you are reading this article North Hyatt Street has been asphalt resurfaced between Park Avenue and Comanche Lane and open to traffic as part of our North Hyatt Street Reconstruction Phase II Project. LJ DeWeese Company, of Tipp City, was awarded the North Hyatt Street contract which also includes widening North Hyatt Street to three lanes from Comanche Lane north to the existing three-lane section of Tipp-Cowlesville Road. North Hyatt Street/Tipp-Cowlesville Road will be closed to traffic during this construction project, which is expected to be completed by Thanksgiving, weather permitting. Please follow the posted detour during the construction period. This project was made possible due to a $400,000 grant from the Ohio Public Works Commission and a $135,000 contribution from the Miami County Engineer’s Office.
