It’s time to celebrate another great summer of reading clubs for youth at Tipp City Public Library.
Children preschool through fifth grade, who met their reading club goal of 15 books by the Aug. 05 deadline, are invited to a huge pizza party at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 09. The party will be held at the United Methodist Church located at 8 W. Main St.
For the first time ever, the featured entertainer will be comic/juggler, Matt Jergens. He is a seasoned performer with more than a decade of experience with thrilling audiences aboard five-star cruises, festivals, and corporate events. His daredevil-style juggling and high energy comedy routine will make this a summer reading club party to remember.
Domino’s Restaurant of Tipp City will provide plenty of the pizza, as they do every year. Registration is requested.
GRADES SIX AND UP
SUMMER PARTY
Summer reading club members in grades six and up, who met their reading club goal of ten books by the deadline, are invited to their party set for Friday, Aug. 15, from 6 to 8 p.m. The evening will include music, DDR/Guitar Hero, and pizza.
Registration is required.
ADULT AFTER-HOURS
If you’ve ever played it, you already know that you don’t have to be an artist to win at Pictionary. Adults are invited to play the game at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 12. Come alone and make new friends, or plan it as an outing for yourself and a couple of pals.
Registration is required.

TRUSTEES
The Library Trustees Personnel and Facilities Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, and the full Board of Trustees will have its monthly meeting at 7 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 28.
The Tipp City Public Library is located at 11 E. Main St., and the telephone number is 667-3826. Find the library online at http://www.tippcitylibrary.org.
