Tipp City Public Library has added regular programs for its smallest visitors with Little Ducklings Story Time, now being offered twice monthly through March.
Program leaders Sharon Egona and Marsha Pinson share stories, picture books, fingerplays, and songs with little ones age 12 - 23 months. The next Little Ducklings Story Time is set for Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Visit the library’s website at http://www.tippcitylibrary.org , and click on the calendar link for a full listing of upcoming programs.
Each child must be accompanied by a parent, and registration is appreciated.
TWO YEAR OLDS
Fans of the library’s Lap Story Time for toddlers (24 – 35 months) will be pleased to learn that the library is increasing the availability of these programs. In the past, story times for two year-olds were limited to one per month, but now they will be offered on a twice-monthly basis.
The next toddler story time is planned for 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan 28. “Bears” will the program theme, and it will be represented in songs, stories and plays. More toddler story times are set for the second and fourth Mondays in upcoming months, all at 10 a.m. Again, a full listing of these and other library events is posted at the website. Each toddler must be accompanied by an adult, and registration is required.
PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
Only a couple of weeks remain in the winter session of Preschool Story Time. A limited number of openings are available for anyone wishing to register their three to five year-old. Story times are held each Tuesday at 10 and 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. That schedule continues through February 05. At that time, this story time group will take a break, and start up again for another five-weeks beginning March 04.
