Library News
Tipp City Public Library is the place to be for great activities and programs for all ages all winter long.
AFTERHOURS FOR ADULTS
If you are a fan of Letterboxing, but consider it an outdoor sport, think again. This popular hobby is the basis of “Library Letterboxing” and it’s set for Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Clues will be placed throughout the library, and participants will piece them together to find a hidden box. After the hunt, participants will be treated to pizza and refreshments while they compare search strategies with other players. Searchers will hunt in small groups of three to five. Come alone or bring friends and form you own team. Whichever, it’s sure to be a great way to spend a winter evening. Registration is required.
GUITAR HERO AND DDR
The library has a fun option for middle schoolers and older students looking for something fun to do on Monday, Jan. 21. With schools closed for MLK Day, the library will offer two Guitar Hero/DDR events. Grades four through six can enjoy these popular video games in the library meeting room from noon to 2 p.m. Grades seven and up can take their turn from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Snacks and refreshments will be available. Registration is not required.
