Veterans Memorial to be dedicated Sunday
TIPP CITY — A black granite Veterans Memorial surrounded by more than 1,000 bricks engraved with names of area veterans from the Revolutionary War through today will be dedicated in ceremonies Sunday afternoon.

Activities will involve people of all ages, from Broadway Elementary School students, who will lead the Pledge of Allegiance, to veterans representing all military branches.

I noticed the Veteran’s Memorial when I was in Tipp City recently. My Dad is WWII veteran from Tipp City, although he lives with us in Kentucky. Can we still get a brick?

I’m not sure how long the bricks are or were for sale - visit the Tipp Monroe Community Services Contact Us page (http://www.tmcomservices.org/contact.php) and they will be able to tell you.
