Tipp City Public Library’s DVD area is one of the most popular spots in the library. Fans will be pleased to know that the library’s movie collection in that format has now surpassed the 1,000 mark.
More precisely, the number of DVDs available from the local library now totals 1,060. At any given time approximately 75 percent of those movies are checked out. The library adds about 30 new DVDs to the collection every month. In upcoming months, plans are to give preference to purchasing major new releases and children’s movies. Visit the library soon, and be sure to browse this varied movie selection.
HOLIDAY HOURS
The library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, and be closed Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 22. The library staff and trustees wish everyone a wonderful holiday.
BOARD TO MEET
The Tipp City Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29. The library is located at 11 E. Main St., and the telephone number is 667-3826. Find the library online at http://www.tippcitylibrary.org.
