Library News
Tipp City Public Library will host an evening with local author and historian, Scott Trostel. He will speak on his latest book, Angels at the Station. His visit is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Angels at the Station is a continuation of Mr. Trostel’s series which pays homage to the hundreds of volunteers who organized train station canteens to provide comfort to soldiers destined for World War II. These stations proliferated across the country, and many remained active providing food, small gifts and encouragement to soldiers bound for combat during World War II through 1970.
Mr. Trostel has also authored several other books on Ohio history and railroads. His program is open to the public, and everyone is welcome.
