Trading Company Closes

From the Tipp City Independent Voice:

Trading Company Closes
An end of an era is approaching as the Tippecanoe Frontier Trading Company, one of the longest running retail stores downtown, is closing their doors. For 27 years it’s been a portal back to the early days of civilization, which store owner Mara Back departs from towards peace, but with sadness, as well.

Mara Back, Tippecanoe Frontier Shop “The biggest thing I’m going to miss is the people. I’ve made a lot of good friends. My heart is going to break in September,” Back said.

Back feels very fortunate to have been able to enjoy the rare luxury of being able to wake up every morning and look forward to going to work.
