Tipp Gov’t Announces “Tipp’s Biggest Tree Contest”
The City of Tipp City Tree Board is searching for Tipp City’s BIGGEST TREES! The BIG TREE CONTEST is going to give recognition to those trees that deserve special recognition. Records of the biggest trees will be maintained for the different species with the winning trees verified by the City’s Tree Board.
Trees will be judged based on height, circumference, and average canopy area. The Tree Board can be reached at 937-667-6305. The deadline for entries is AUGUST 1, 2007. The Winner will be announced during Mum Festival week. For more information and an entry form, click HERE.
