Semi Collides with Car, One Dead in Tipp City

Ohio News Network - A semi tractor-trailer rig pulled from a trucking terminal near Tipp City late Friday night onto County Road 25-A into the path of a car, ONN affiliate WHIO reports. The car hits, and ruptured the diesel fuel tank on the truck, sparking an explosion according to Miami County Deputies. When fire fighters from Tipp City and Troy arrived on the scene around 11:15 p.m. both the semi and the car were engulfed in fire. The trucker had jumped to safety, while the driver, pinned in her car, was dead at the scene. Read the full article at the Ohio News Network.
